The mining industry is critical for the development of the nation. It will always be present because of the shear need for earth’s resources. Many people don’t see mining as a necessary operation. People think of the mining industry as an industry that ruins the land and pollutes the waterways and the atmosphere. They believe mining is unsafe because of the earlier accidents in mining. This is the same perception that our current governmental administration has.
